While the metal roofing industry has curved low seam metal roof panels for years, only recently has it had the ability to mechanically curve a 2-1/2" structural standing seam roof. IMETCO, the first U.S. manufacturer to curve symmetrically designed structural panels, is able to achieve the tightest curves in the industry and to curve longer panels than most.
With our culture of continuous improvement, we at IMETCO are dedicated to refining and developing standing seam manufacturing techniques and capabilities to bring you further extend the design possibilities of standing seam metal roofing, expedite manufacturing timeframes, and reduce the costs of this special fabrication.
In 2006, IMETCO accomplished another ground-breaking achievement in panel curving, by producing panels with a “reverse” curve, as well as a continuous, smooth reverse-curve-to-standard-curve “S” panel.
These extraordinary S-shaped panels are truly a sight to behold as your eye travels along the reverse-curve radius of the panels and continues, seamlessly, along the tangent to the standard curve.
Whether manufactured in our factory and shipped to you, or field curved on the job site, IMETCO’s curving capabilities are unsurpassed.

Tapering With proven manufacturing capabilities and dedicated engineering support, IMETCO is the only choice for projects requiring tapered metal roofing panels. Our quality control does not begin in the factory, but rather with the dedicated engineering team that works closely with the designer and contractor on each and every project to eliminate installation challenges, reduce waste, and ensure that IMETCO’s tapered panels provide the stunning visual impact desired. Tapered panels are factory formed from a single piece of metal - not pieced together from joined metal. Tapered panels are manufactured with stiffening beads adjacent to the vertical panel legs only, preserving the flat, clean look of the panel’s center.
